Quarantine

Dear Friends,

The quarantine in Shanghai differs depending on your travel circumstances. For those of us coming from highly infected areas, we are not permitted to leave our apartment. Today the police came by to install an alarm on our door that alerts them every time the door is opened. We are expected to send them a message when we plan on opening the door to set out the trash or accept a delivery. We are still thinking this is a better option than 14 days quarantine in a hotel that you are required to pay for.
